Most rabid...definitely the Philly fans. However, whoever came up with this talk of stabbing opposing fans (Vikings fan?) is pretty far off base (as far as I am aware...I tried to look it up but found nothing). They are also some of the most knowledgable fans around! (So many people have never even set foot in Philly...including sportscasters...and just go by the whole "They Booed Santa" thing.)
The only problem I can recall of a truly dangerous nature was the flare gun thing (v. San Fransisco on a Monday Night Football game).
Most loyal...The 12th Man in Seattle! I should know...I'm one of them (from afar!)

Loyal, I would say its a toss up between Denver and Green Bay, with Denver getting the slight edge. They have sold out their stadium since 1974, even during the bad years the stadium is full. Green Bay because there is such a long line for season tickets, and the fact that the citizens of Green Bay own the team. But during the 70s and 80s when the team was not so good, a full staidum wasn't always there.
True fans support a loseing season just as much as a winning season.
Rabid fans? Raiders, KC, Philly, with Philly topping the chart. They hate their team on a down swing just as much as they hate whomever the Eagles play.

Green Bay Packer fans are the most loyal, Oakland Raider fans are the most Rabid. Packer fans own the team so it makes them very loyal. Have you been to a Raiders game??? Enough said!!

Packers and Vikings. Because no matter the situation the Packers/Vikings fan are always nice to eachother either in Lambeau or the Metrodome
For Rabid, i have to say the Eagles because they stabbed a Vikings fan a few years back in the playoffs. And my next would be the Raiders, they look like an actuall territory that no other fan s hould be in.... SCARY!

NOBODY supports their team like Steeler fans. There are Steeler fan clubs all over the world, Steeler bars are everywhere, watch a Steeler road game & look at the Black & Gold in the stands. The Terrible Towels looked like a snow storm during the playoffs. Do you remember the stands for the Super Bowel? All Black & Gold. Taigating is a religion here in the "Burgh. Hell, even pets wear game jerseys on game day here.

Packers but raider and Eagles fans are the craziest. Tampa Bay has some true die hard fans too just ask the people that have been there in the old Orange and White days. Those are true fans.
