Babies R Us, much cheaper than Mothercare. I would suggest getting a travel system, it will save you loads of money. Mine came with carseat, base, cosy toes, rain cover and of course the pram for £169. Cot I got second hand and just got a new mattress for it.
Congrats too, it's an amazing feeling knowing that there is a little baby growing away in there!!

Congratulations! I know how excited I was when I first found out I was pregnant. I know how much I was in a rush to go out and get every last thing the baby could possibly need.

Let me make a suggestion, though... start putting a little money away. Make it your "everything that baby needs" fund. Then when you get closer to your due date, go to town! If you have any family, friends or even co-workers you're probably going to be given alot of the things you're going to need.

Register at a baby store that you would like to see your baby's things come from... heck, register at a few! This way you can dream and plan and make lists of things you want or feel you need, but you won't waste money on things that you might be given for free. Besides which, if you're going to find out before the birth whether it's a boy or a girl, if you hold off on buying things you'll be able to buy gender specific items.

Just a few suggestions. Good luck!

How come you 'just found out' you're pregnant but they can already tell the sex? Did you leave it about 5 months to have a test?

You can get pram, cot and all that sort of stuff at Mothercare or Argos or similar shops.

hi Its puzzling isn't it. I went somewhat mad after I had my first and offered each and every little thing and it became the type of waste of money. i might want to purchase a pushchair which has a carrycot attachment. So even as the newborn receives older you could eliminate the carrycot and it would want to easily be a pushchair. you're saying you stay interior the countryside. i might want to purchase one it truly is totally good that may deal with the hard terrain properly, as you could purely have a touch one in a touch one service till there six months besides. yet they are accessible so i might want to signify you procuring one besides, yet do not position self assurance in all of it the time because they seem to be a soreness. you opt for a baby vehicle seat and that i might want to get a cotbed so even as shes older you could turn it right into a cot. yet a moses basket is excellent for the first few months as you could take the newborn downstairs and enable her sleep there, even as your busy doing issues there. I mean you do not even ought to purchase the cotbed immediately my daughter became wonderful in a moses basket till she became 4 months old. solid success

CONGRATS TO YOU!! If I were you I would wait a little while until I found out the sex of the baby...that way you can buy things that suit the sex of the baby. Ebay has great deals...and it could save you hundreds. My advice to you as a mom of 4 is dont buy too many diapers in newborn size....the baby may be bigger than that at birth...lol Another thing is dont buy lots of newborn clothing...for the same reason as the diapers.
