there is a scenario. you send your paper to a press to publish. aftering receiving it, the editor change the author name and publish it. at this time, how can you prove that this paper is written by you,not by someone else?

If this has not happened yet, send a copy of the paper/work to yourself via us mail and keep it sealed with the date on it from the postmark. That proves it was yours.
If your work was plagarized, get a lawyer.
If you want to copyright your work, you can download the application for your work and send it in, it's about $35.

That's pretty tugh.What you could do is try to get ahold of the publisher.And tell him to change the name to your name.
