If the earth were to rotate the opposite way than it does now, the prevailing winds and most of your weather would come from the opposite direction.
Easterly trade winds in the tropics would be westerly trades, and mid-latitude westerlies would become mid-latitude easterlies.
The sun would also rise in the west and set in the east.

the sun would go the other direction in the sky.
that's it, no superman-turning-back-time thing.
if that were true, the first person to land on venus (disregarding the whole spaceship melting thing) would instantly start growing younger.
that day would also last longer, unless the switch was instantaneous. (ths is because the spinning would slow until it stopped, then reversed)

It does turn CCW, just ask any Aussie. CW and CCW are just points of view from the northern hemisphere (CW) and from the southern hemisphere (CCW).
OOOPs--as the last answerer pointed out, I blew it. Its CCW in the north and CW in the south. Sorry about that. Nonetheless, the concept is the same...which way it turns (CW or CCW) is a matter of which hemisphere is the point of reference.

can't ( but if you had a few million years to slow it to a stop then reverse the spin - while keeping everything alive - very little except the side of trees that plants grew on )

I'm not sure but I've got a pretty good idea it would be crazy. Have you ever had a dream while you had a fever? Yeah I bet it would be crazy like that.
Fever dream crazy.
