ok one of my best friends i have a crush on and he doesn't know it is there away that i can find out if he likes me w/out giving away that i like him b/c if i tell him i'm afraid that will push him away

Yes you will push him away cause guys are shy. Here is a tip from the "old broad". Keep some sort of hard candy in your purse/jeans and you can always offer him some when he's away from the other guys. Then start talking to him..."hey, where is your favorite place to have lunch? REALLY?? ME TOO! Lets have some fun and meet there tomorrow and I'll treat!"......(smile) And I mean Smile!!! This will be no pressure, just lunch between "friends" that may go somewhere. You can get to know each other alot better alone. THEN...you tell him it wil be his turn to treat if he accepts. Give him a hug before you go home...no "kissie"...not yet. God bless ya, honey!

this is not a problem anymore, just tell him, if he does like you, it's solved then, but if not, it's better to back off instead of suffering.

been thered done that. I told this guy I like on IM, come to find out this other guy I broke up with 4ev ago still thinks I like him he was so mad he signed out of my friends messanger. He still isn't talking to me. It has been 3 months. Good idea. Play hard to get. Guys like that are not worth slobbering over!

this question is so frequently asked, but i know what you mean,when i was young i never would ask someone out or anytyhing its a fear of rejection i think, but i wasted alot of potential dates becasue of it also. therefore i would make sure that if you want to pursue something you just do it, either write to him , get a friend to ask him, do something that puts you in a position to be needing his help and work your way round seeing if hes keen

omg like completely ask a friend to like ask him if he likes you. she can like pass him a note or like something in history class. Or, on a more mature note, you could simply voice your feelings. You risk rejection yes, but I think he would respect you more for just asking him than sneaking around and trying to hear through the grapevine if he likes you or not.

I think you should meet somewhere and talk with him. or just tell him how you feel, its a little better than thinking if he likes you or not. just tell him and see what he says. if he doesn't feel the same you'll find someone better later on who does like you. best of luck to you.
