I have a stack of old LP's (some as out-of-print) I'd love to convert to CD's. Any good software programs which can do that ? Also, can they eliminate the "noise" often found on older LP's ? Thanks !

I wound up Burning My Lp's on to DVDs through my Dvd Recorder. Worked Great Plus 2 Dvds held My Entire Collection of about 100 albums :-)

Simply use your question as a search subject and try doing an internet search and/or just search Yahoo answers. You might be surprised to find the answer that you've been looking for -at least in the meantime while you are waiting for the right answer (or perhaps just a confirmation to the answer you've found) here...

No.
If you want to do it even if it isn't easy:
There is a program that captures the sound going through the sound card and it gets rid of scratch sounds and pops from LPs.
Once you have these sound files you can then convert them to any sound format.
