you should always drress a little bit dressier than you think you should (now i dont mean wear a formal dress to a barbeque). weddings also really depend on where its at
Chapel-
wedding: a knee length simple summer dress// semi formal dress
reception: a nice pair of capris// dress pants and a cute blouse
Beach-
wedding: a nice pair of capris//dress pants and a cute blouse
reception: same
Hotel-
wedding&reception: hotels are a lot easier to plan for because you pretty much know what the weather is going to be like inside the wedding hall and you dont have the pressuree of looking nice in a chapel. you can generally get away with any sort of combination of short//knee length dress, skirt, pant suit, nice capris if the dress requirements hadn't all ready been specified in the invitation
although jeans are very easy to dress up they are not recommended for a wedding (at least not the wedding itself) unless otherwise specified

It depends on the season. If the wedding is in the summer. I would wear a light colored dress such as pink. And it would be like more sundressy. If it's in the fall, I would wear something longer, and in a darker shade like red or brown.

Are you the Bride or a guest? Be comfortable taking into consideration the weather, etc. Try not to wear white....it still clashes with the time-honored perception that only the bride should don white attire. Wear something appropriate for your body type...comfy shoes (or plan to kick them off to dance) and don't be too diva-flashy!

pajamas indeed! lol. You don't say if it's YOUR wedding - I presume it is. Depends on the weather - if a sunny day, very light and natural. If the weather's not so hot, go a bit darker and more sultry - maybe black eyeliner to emphasise the eyes. but whichever, don't overdo the mascara - you KNOW you're gonna cry babe! Best wishes to you and your new hubby. xx

Wear a nice dress or suit. A pants & jacket set. Wear whatever you like. It's the bride's day and she's the one who will be shining.'

I love long dresses. My bf prefers the brief ones. So my closet is loaded w/ 1/2 and 1/2.
