The speedometer doesn't move at all, everything seems to be stuck at zero. Is there anyway of fixing it?

if its a cable type,,and not a digital type,,you need a new cable for it,,other wise if it one of the digital type,you may have to replace the dash unit,,or get a good used one for it,,i own a repair shop,,and some of these cars were the cable type,and some were the digital type,,good luck with it,,i hope this helps.

Speedometer cable. It happened to my bros Neon RT! Really annoying, huh?

It sounds to me like knows his info. I would go with what he says. You can also call around to dearerships & parts stors if you don't trust one persons word on it.
