Mike Lowell, Jonathan Papelbon, and Wily Mo Pena. Every Lowell hit is a double off the monstah, Papelbon should be the rookie of the year, and Pena will be an all-star in 2-3 years.

Most of the players just mentioned get a lot of national attention

I would go with a Freddy Sanchez, Joe Mauer, Aaron Rowand, Luiz Gonzalez (always has been) and Reed Johnson

Miguel Cabrera of the Florida Marlins.

The young stud is nearly impossible to get out -- keep in mind he doesn't exactly have the greatest line up to protect him either, and he hits in a pitchers park 50% of his games; imagine what his stats would be if he played for, lets say the Yankees, or the White Sox?

He isn't talked about too much, and is not widely that popularly known. He's batting .337 this year (Also on pace for 120 rbis), and batted .323 last year. Not to mention he has a ring. Pretty damn impressive for a kid who's only making $472,000 this season.

Kevin Millwood is definately the most underrated player! He's an amazing pitcher! Also Michael Young and Mark Teixera are underrated. Mike is an amazing hitter and shortstop and Mark is also a great hitter and an outstanding first baseman! I also see that your wearin a ranger cap... Thats awesome! As you can tell I ♥ the rangers!

Justin Morneau, even Mauer is still underrated. Youkilis is a very quiet good producer who places a good first base. Adam Laroche is also. many players in smaller markets are so underrated i don't even know.

There are a couple. My two picks are Jermaine Dye and Justin Morneau. Look at their numbers. Also keep in mind Dye's defensive skills and arm. Morneau has quietly had an outstanding year.

What Freddy Sanchez and Mark Derosa are doing this year is unprecedented in the modern history of baseball.. Sanchez is leading the NL in hitting while playing very good defense at third, shortstop and second. Derosa is third in the AL batting race at .332 and he plays very good defense at six positions..

For them to hit the way they are and to play defense as well as they do at, 2B,SS and 3B and in Derosa's case the OF as well, is just not done..
