Here are some things that you can try:

Always keep a little something in your stomach. Hunger seems to heighten the nausea, and then eating to appease the hunger exaggerates it. This means eating a small amount about every two hours.

Limit intake of sweet foods, which may enhance nausea.
Include foods that have a concentrated caloric and nutrient density in order to maximize intake in a small volume.
Avoid fatty or greasy foods. They take longer to digest.

Drink beverages separate from eating foods.

Keep dry, complex carbohydrates around to nibble on, especially before getting up in the morning.

Some women find that low sugar, carbonated beverages help. Try soda water mixed with a little juice.
Drink slowly, a few sips at a time.
Drink ginger ale or ginger tea, or nibble on ginger snaps. Researchers who have studied ginger have found it to work as well, or better than, some pharmaceuticals in fighting motion sickness and morning sickness.
Be sure to drink in order to avoid dehydration.

Ask your doctor about a vitamin B6 supplement. This has been found effective in women with severe morning sickness.

Find which foods you can tolerate, the times at which you can best eat, and then go with that. For now try not worry that you are living on plain rice and dry cornflakes.

I wish you luck!

I know how you feel. I'm only about 8 weeks pregnant, but I've been nauseous for at least the last 3 weeks. I'm luckily not vomiting often (usually in the morning) but most of the time I feel like I'm about to.
When I'm hungry, I get sick, when I eat I get sick after a couple bites....after I eat anything I get heartburn which makes me even more nauseous. The only thing that brings even minor relief is to try and never have an empty stomach, but to never have a full one either. I kind of nibble, a bit here, a bite there, pretty much all day long. Hope that helps. A lot of people told me to try ginger, or mints, or bubbly water like Perrier or whatever. It might work for you, worth a try, but they each made me worse one way or another.

In my first pregnancy i had morning sickness like that but at least i could eat and keep most of it down. My second pregnancy i lost 20 pounds and was put in the hospital for 3 days because i could not eat. I was taking nausea medicine and it did not even help. I would try to eat but just end up getting sick so much until i dry heaved. That was the worst. For some people it is much worse than that, others not so bad. I had all day sickness until 6 mos. pregnant. Try saltine crackers in the morning before you get up. Try gingerale drinks. Juicy fruit gum helps. You might want to suggest nausea medicine if it gets too bad.

I had it really bad for about 1 month and a half. I was always getting sick the whole pregnancy. Try keeping crackers in your stomach. That should help. I had a better appetite before I got pregnant. I could hardly brush my teeth with out throwing up. Just do your best to keep down what you can for your baby. Also , after you eat something, try sitting still for at least 15 mins.

Go see your doctor... They can prescibe you pills for pregnant women specifically against sickness.... I am not sure on the instructions your Doc will give you about these pill, but my advice is to take two of them at night, at least 1h before bed time...

These can make you very sleepy if taken through out the day ....

If you don't have these pills, what helps a lot of women is "Cup a soup" or just plain crackers....Try having the cracker first thing in the morning.... leave them on your night stand and before you even get out of bed, have about 3 to 5..

Also, if you are taking materna, this cold actually be making you very sick....

I had severe sickness my whole pregnancy. My dotor diagnosed me with Hyperemesis. I ended up in the hospital for a week, and had a feeding tube and a bag of liquid to carry with me till I was 35 weeks. It really sucks. I was able to get through it by taking a certain combination of over the counters my doctor recommended. He told me to take B4 vitamin and Unisom tablets 2-3 times a day. Talk to your doctor about it. Hopefully you dont have what I had, and yours goes away in the next month or so.

I had all day sickness with my daughter (now 10 months old) I lost almost 45 pounds during my pregnancy, could not keep anything down, doctor did prescribe phenergan suppositories for the nausea which worked a little. You need to talk to your doctor and let him know what is going on. congratulations and good luck

I am sorry that youhave to go through this...but think of the outcome! Go get a book called " what to expect when you are expecting" by Heidi Murkoff. It's the pregnancy bible and will help with all these questions. Your question as well as many others that you would not expect is in there. It's excellent in describing all of these little things that worry moms and help distinguish when something is "normal" or not.
Good Luck

Though thankfully the 4 times I was pregnant I didn't have this problem too badly, you could try ginger in alot of your foods, or ginger-tea.
Other than this, a website I found has some great ideas for severe "morning sickness":
