Stay until you can find a job you like with a good salary.

I work in a factory myself. I made over $50K last year there. My problem is I've been there too long. I don't have a degree or anything, but now I have to stay there just to make ends meet. I guess what I'm trying to say is don't let your outgoing bills ever match your income. Everyone spends. The only difference between the rich and poor is that the poor buy liabilities and the rich buy assets. Use this job to get you some assets. A multi-unit rental or something.

Quit.

Plan your exit. Stay until you have figured out:
-What you actually want to do.
-How to make what you want to do work, financially and otherwise.
-Create a timeline, a point at which you should reach specific goals that all lead to you making a career and life transition.
-Move on with your life and be happy.

Don't just stay because of the money because there's more to life. There is such a thing as being happy, though a lot of people will convince you that "this is as good as it gets". And too, finding a job that helps you create a lifestyle that you are really happy with is possible, maybe not easy to figure out, but possible.

Good luck!

NO. Because that is how dead end jobs keep people working for them, by offering you a good salary, thats how 20 years go by and you realize, where the f**k did my life go? Do something that makes you happy and makes you a lot of cash!

if I made a great salary I wouldnt think of it as a dead end job. A dead end job is one that does not pay but you are stuck there.

Yes, I have been at a dead end job for 15 years making excellent money and saving for my future. I have more accumulated than most of my friends working good jobs. The key is spend your money wisely and invest properly.... All jobs are dead end jobs if you don't invest. Good luck...

Do jobs with great salaries qualify as "dead-end" jobs?

Don't want no dead end job / Don't wanna be no number
