No, palindromes are words or phrases that are spelled the same backwards as they are forward.
For exmple,
"A Toyota, sides reversed, is a Toyota."

A palindrome is a word that reads the same backwards as forward, there are basic ones such as mom, dad, wow...
Names such as Bob...
And words for other things such as "racecar"...Spell racecar backwards, and you get...Racecar!
