Discoverer of Xena, Mike Brown, want to propose to IAU of naming Xena Persephone according to serveral websit?

i have official checked and found out Mike Brown who discovered Xena, is prob. going to propose Persephone to the IAU

Michael Brown>> My first choice would be Persephone. Persephone is the wife of Pluto and the myth actually fits very well with how the planet is in the sky. In mythology, Persephone spends half of her time in the underworld with Pluto and the other half further away. But it's just what this planet does. The planet comes in about half the time close to Pluto and the other half further away and back and forth.

Actually, Mike Brown doesn't have a say in the naming of 2003UB313 or any other celestial body. That is decided by the IAU. And I GUARANTEE you it won't be Xena.

No more warrior princess planet?

When he explains it that way, it certainly is hard to argue with him. I think it's a good planet name.
