Volume is in liters.
Density is mass/volume... kg/L

The standard SI unit for measuring mass is the kilogram (kg), even though most balances in your lab use grams (g).
The standard SI unit for measuring volume is the cubic meter or m^3, but most of the time we use milliliters (mL). You can covert the two with 1 mL = 1 cm^3.

mass is the si unit for mass, of anything in anything. It's grams. Do you mean volume of a fluid in a container? that's liters.

Weight is grams, milligrams or kilograms.
Volume is liters, Milliliters, or kiloliters...
Although... in syringes it's cubic centimeters!
