People usually take a pregnancy test after the missed their period. If you live in the US, go to planned parenthood. You could get tested, and they can prescribe for you the morning after pill (Plan B) and birth control pills. The cost is based on how much you earn. So if you don't make much money, it will be at little or no cost to you for the test and pill. I don't know how it will work out if you are under aged though. Please contact them, they will be able to guide you though. If you are worried, contact them as soon as you can. Many of them have drop in hours, check online or call to find out.

You can get one of the early pregnancy test that can detect about 3 days before a missed period. (check the box) The after pill is supposed to be taken within 48 hours of sexual intercourse. If you are worried I would go in immediately and talk with someone at a doctor or planned parenthood. The after pill is not yet available over the counter you need a prescription for it which you can get from a doctor or planned parenthood. Planned parenthood is a federal program that can help with bc and after pills. Planned parenthood is cheaper than the doctor and usually the exam is free but the prescription will cost.

You can get the morning after pill at any family planning clinic for a low fee around $35.00 or so. You could also have a doctor prescribe it some insurance will cover this some wont, but you only have 72 hours to take the morning after pill. Most pregnancy test wont show your pregnant until at least 1-2 weeks.

If you are at the point where you are knowing for sure you are pregnant, then it is too late to take the morning after pill. That is only to stop implantation and has to be started within 72 hours of the unprotected sex. At the point where a pregnancy test would say positive, your only option if you don't want to carry the baby to term is to have an abortion. Only you can decide if you can live with your decision if you do choose to have one. Keep in mind there are thousands of people out there just waiting for a baby to adopt. Good Luck.

you can take a morning after pill up to 72 hours after the unprotected sex. the cost varies. $60-$100. depends on if they make you get a doctor's exam before you take the pill. most places you can just buy it over the counter...but they should require a pregnancy test first.

how long does it take? hmmm. wel, as long as it take your body to get pregnant. some people don't actually get pregnant for a week after the unprotected sex. depends on when you ovulate. sperm can live in you for 5-7 days. the only way you really know is to take a test. the general rule is that if you miss a period, you take a test. you need time for the hormone to build up for a test to be positive. if you still have time to take the morning after pill, just go take it to ease your mind. otherwise, wait to see if you miss your period.

and of course...NO MORE UNPROTECTED SEX. right? :) get on birth control, girlfriend. none of this stress is worth it if you are not trying to get pregnant.

I found out I was pregnant a week before my period was due. I bought a home pregnancy test at walgreens for $8.99.

You can get the morning after pill by getting a prescription from a doctor and then going to your local pharmacy...insurance covers it regularly, I don't know how much it costs without insurance.

The pill should be taken up to 5 days after unprotected sex. You cannpt know 100% of you are pergnant 5 days after sex. You can know up to a week before, and that's using a good pregnancy test. It is either free at planned parenthood clinics or cost up to $150, depending on your income.

Go to your local Planed Parenthood Center. It technically takes 7 days (I think) to become pregnant from the day you had sex. You have to take the morning after pill within just a few days.. like 2 or 3 i think.

It usually takes about 14-20 days after ovulation to find out if you are pregnant. You could go to planned parenthood and they could give you a deal on birth control also they will do a pregnancy test for you. Goodluck

You can usually go to planned parenthood and they will do a check to make sure that everything is ok and they will give you the morning after pill too, yes they do charge you but it goes by your income I think. If you are a teen I believe that all services are free.
