How do I use Audacity to remove static, like someone breathing lightly into the mic or wind blowing into it. I still want to have a clear recording. I don't have the oppurtunity to record it again.

Simply use your question as a search subject and try doing an internet search and/or just search Yahoo answers. You might be surprised to find the answer that you've been looking for -at least in the meantime while you are waiting for the right answer (or perhaps just a confirmation to the answer you've found) here...

Work on a copy since you can't redo it. Use the 'Noise Removal' effect. You open it once and select a range where the noise is strongest then you pen it again and select the range you want it applied to. You can select the strength of the effect so play around with that to get what you want.
