The conciliation court will meet on
Friday August 18th to discuss Juve's appeal for a more lenient sentence and the club say they want nothing less than a return to Serie A.

I think a point is being made with Juve's demotion; I think Juve wil have to remain in Serie B at least 1 season, to prove to the world that a change is being made. It's a travesty, making an example of Juve and giving AC Milan a tap on the wrist.

First of all, i am a card carrying founding member of a Juve fanclub, so i obviously want only the best for the team.

However, personally i don't think they should get reinstated to Serie A. Yes, they are being made an example of. Perhaps abit too much. 2004/2005 scudetto was correct to be taken away, but not the 2005/2006. There just is not enough proof of "ref" fixing for this past season, therefore it is strange they took it away and gift wrapped it to Inter. On top of that the court knowingly knew of the flood of players that would leave if they were relegated, and the obvious financial hit they would take as well - from tv rights, to ticket sales, missing european cups, and sponsors. Luckily, the tv rights and sponsors are still there. (they know a good thing). The court was almost sentencing them to death.

Moggi and Giraudo screwed the team, and altho they should be the one's paying the most, the team has to suffer as well. Just because Milan, Fiorentina and Lazio got away with a less harsh penalty, Moggi and Giraudo did the most.

But i must point out something that not too many people know about. In late March of THIS year, Inter (Moratti and Facchetti) met with Moggi, Giraudo and Capello to try to get them to join Inter FC!! They declined. One month later, the scandal exploded. Odd that the guys who were saying, "you see, we told you Juve was corrupt" are the same guys trying to entice the three bastards to join their team. - if you deal with the devil, you aren't too innocent in my book.
p.s. Provera-Tronchetti of Inter administration is employed by TIM (telecom italia). Pretty easy for them to record telephone conversations of whomever they want.

In conclusion of my rant (sorry) i say let Juve stay in Serie B. Whether its with -17 pts or -0 pts, doesn't matter. How sweet will it be when they move back up after one season?!

No they shouldn't appeal anymore. Accept the penalty, complain about it, but suck it up and play.

(ammendment: No discount. It's Serie B with -17pts. Let's all accept it, and enjoy their march towards Serie A. And don't forget, tomorrow Juventus-Martina 1st round Coppa Italia)

My friend is a big fan of Juve and he is saying that ''comeback'' will be to easy for them and that Del Piero will score over 30 goals in Seria B!!! Well, i don't think so, but I doubt that are a lot of players in Seria B that can put a ball behind Buffons back and I would like to see Nedved back in big games!!! After all Juventus is (was) one of the best clubs in the world and it's a shame what happened, but they will have BIG money problems this season and because of that it's going to take a little bit more time to come back on top!!!!!

Well they’ll surely go back to serie A, but it’ll be tough for the players and the manager, and it’ll be even harder when they’ll go back to Serie A… But I am full of hope and I think that after 3 or 4 years juve will be the best team in the world…

They will get back on track and they will go back to Serie A. If not this season the next. It is a big club and always will be, they belong in Serie A.
