I was 5 cm dilated with my daughter and had no idea, I was going to be induced the following day but started spotting, went to the docs to get check and was sent straight to the hospital and had my daughter an hour later. Prior to this baby I never would have thought it could happen, my son took 23 hours of labor to arrive and about 17 hours of that was miserable because I wasnt dilating therefor no drugs allowed :o(

Yes very possible, When i was pregnant with my second child i was dilated to 5 for almost 3 weeks and never felt a thing. Actually i never feel any contractions (painful) with neither of my children. Not until i was ready to start pushing them out.
Hopefully this one is the same.

I hate to say this sweetie, but I was 6 cm for a month. The only thing worse than being 9 months pregnant, is being 10! He was worth it though......even though he's 20 now and just spilled a gallon of gas in the trunk of my car. The little 6' 2" cutie says...."Mom, it was an akkident!" And actually, the gas was for the weedwacker to do my trimming for me. May the force be with you, and shortly!

Totally, when I was pregnant with my son I was dialated to 5 and didn't have very strong contractions at all then the doc broke my water and instantly I went into hard labor! My beautiful son was born less than 40 minutes later!

Yes it is possible. I went to the doctors for a check up, with no contractions, just discomfort. I was dialated to a 5.

If you are dilating, you should probably go to Triage right away.

yes, when I got to the hospital I was 4 cm and starting to feel it but it wasn't that bad.

yes I was dialated 5 3/4cm and was just having little pain in my side. Good Luck

There was one lady on discovery health that didn't feel any of her contractions. That was weird but it does happen.
