I just got my very own real purse. Only I don't know what to put in it! It looks so empty! This is what I already have in it:

I remember when I got my first purse. I know just what you need!
Everything you listed is good, but I'll add on to it.
Essential make-up- the make-up you wear everyday, not your whole collection.
A pad or two, in case you run out of tampons!
Your housekey
Cell phone (if you have one)
A mirror
A pen
A mechanical pencil
A tablet of paper, just in case you have to write down something to remember to do
A digital camera (if you have one)
IPOD (if you have one)
A little bottle of lotion
Nail clippers

I have a tiny purse, so I just put my wallet, keys, and cell phone in there, sometimes some lip balm. Oh, and in the little zipper part I keep ponytail holders and a lint brush. In my bigger bag I used to also carry a mirror and a camera.
Sounds like your purse is huge. Sometimes that can be a good thing, because you can carry everything you need, but on the other hand, you end up carrying too much stuff. Maybe use this one for a while, and then get a smaller one down the line (not too small though; it's very inconvenient). I definitely suggest getting a wallet though. It keeps you much more organized. You're less likely to lose money that way.

I have a whole bunch of random things, is it a big purse? If it is maybe a small address book, a wallet, a little notepad, 2 pens, pads/tampons, some makeup, lip gloss, lip stick, iPod, and a whole bunch of other random crap, your purse doesn't have to be organized and it doesn't matter what it looks like on the inside, other peeps only look at the outside. (One time I was at a party and I left my purse in my friends room and some random boys went through my purse and took a pad and poured water on it and stuck a tampon in a cup! it was sooooo embarasing!)

i don't have my period yet(I'm 14), so i don't have the period stuff, lol. I'm looking in my purse now(i'd recommend a sophisticated one, not a hellokitty one or anything) and i have: makeup(eye shadow mascara lip gloss chapstick and eyeliner), gum, cellphone, mirror/brush(got it at Claire's), lotion, money, reciepts, and trash(lol). some1 said my purse was dirty, it is, but it shouldn't matter, lol. Big purses are better because u can stick anything and everything in it. if it is a small purse, only take things u'll really use. no trash in it.

i put some kind of chap stick or lip gloss!
Of course a cell, but
You got most of the things that you need,
like tampons oh ya what about,
pads????? lol
you got money, and you got mints, which is good in case you have tuna or something that smells gross that you eat!!! lol

lucky u!! my purse is full of unwanted crap! haha. i have basically all of that, plus receipts, bills, loose change, teeny pieces of paper... random pens and pencils lol...
trust me--what u have is just GOOD. oh but--just in case.. u might want to keep a teeny deodarant with u.. or a body spray.. and also one of those small kleenex tissue packs!!when u carry a purse around, u want to have just the basic essentials right?
oh hey btw.. u shud keep more of mints than gum. studies have found that mints keep ur breath fresh.. gum's just good for chewing!!

Great question! I'm 38, so, I'm sure I have different things.
Checkbook, key's , cell w/t Roxy case,make up bag, body spray,pen,wallet,datebook, and small box for advil, sinus med, whatever...
