Both of my boys are "rashy" babies. Every time they'd catch a cold, they'd get a rash similar to what you're describing. I've had them to the doctor more times than I care to count, and I get the same answer..."It's a viral rash. Nothing can be done about it. It's not uncomfortable to them. It'll clear up in a few days." And they were right.
As hot as it's been, it could be a heat rash, but I don't think that would spread all over the body. Heat rashes are usually contained to areas that stay sort of damp and dark (Underneath their chin in the folds of their neck, butt cheeks, etc.)
How high is his fever? If it gets much above 102, you should definitely call his pediatrician or take him to Urgent Care. Normally a fever isn't a reason to rush out to the emergency room, but since he has the rash, better be safe than sorry, you know?
If he seems OK otherwise, I'd wait until tomorrow and call his pediatrician first thing in the morning. It could be heat rash or it could be measles.

call the doctor.. my 18 month old son spiked a 104 fever.. then after the fever, he broke out in a rash.. I took him to the doctor.. it was Roseolla.. kinda like measles. The doc needs to have a look at that rash.. they can put your mind at ease and recommend what medicine is safe to give him. Some illness that present with a rash can be serious.. Dont take any chances. Be sure to call the tele-nurse line tonite. and keep a close eye on his fever.

There are a lot of illnesses with rash and fever. Chicken pox, although that will look more like blisters. Roseola (german measles). Fifth's disease. These are fairly common in childhood with out any lasting effects. Also strep throat can cause a rash. I would definantly make a dr. appt. but go by him. Is he acting ok, other than the fever? If so then wait till morning. If he is lethargic, overly sleepy, etc. I would take him to the ER.

It could be a sensitivity to something like a food or your laudry detergent. I would at least make an appointment with your doctor as soon as you can or even take him to the e.r. if the fever is bad enough. Good luck.

Take her to the health practitioner and see in the experience that they could prescribe her some cream. 2 of my sons has very dry pores and skin and that is what we use on them. wintry climate drys available pores and skin alot. in case you won't be able to do this there is a few cream that they promote interior the drug shops it truly is in a tube like a glue stick it truly is only for infant's faces. And that still works.

it could be impetigo or heat rash.maybe he is allergic to a certain food.that wouldn't explain the fever though.also could be eczema.it could be a lot of things.is he itchy?i would try to bring his fever down with Tylenol then call the doctor.he might have to see him to diagnose and prescribe meds or he might be able to suggest home treatments over the phone.good luck and dont worry, iam sure its nothing serious.hope he feels better.

Look inside his mouth although there isn't always symptoms there. It could be hand foot mouth disease; sounds horrific, but it does get better. If it is there isn't much you can do, but waite it out. Good luck. my niece got this from her daycare and of course " no one else had it." Hers showed up on her butt before it did her mouth.

It could be a disease like rubella or a food allergy like I had as a baby. I would suggest visiting the doctor asap.
