i am a boy and wandering what things does sex ed have in 7th grade?

it was the worst year. take it from me i'm going into 8th grade now.
-Miracale of life (dont eat a big breakfast before this video!)
-Anatomy of girls & guys (Yes you will be imbaressed)
-Safe sex (i know your only 12-13)
-Girl Pubirty (periods & thats shiz)
-Boy stuff (erictions)

When i had sex education back in 7th grade we learned about male and female anatomy of the sex organs. We learned about babies being born and what occurs during the process of fertilization of the womans egg. We also learned about what it would be like if we had a child at that young age and the things we would have to give up if we got pregnant or got someone pregnant. Its pretty much the basics on what sex is and how things work with the body parts and how things change with having a kid.

It's more about the ins and outs of puberty than actual nitty gritty details about sex. I clearly remember my 7th grade sex ed talk (how can you forget them?! We even had our PARENTS invited along! Talk about EMBARASSING!) and, honestly, it was nothing that we didn't already know. Major let down...
Sorry to disappoint you. If it makes it seem more appealing I can say it invloves graphic charts and even more graphic videos, but I'd probably scare you more than entice you! lol

I've never had sex ed in 7th grade, but it's probably HIV studies like you did in 6th grade or anatomy. Wait until your Junior year in High School.

Well, when I was in 7th grade, we got to see an old black&white film. I thought it was going to be about sex, but instead, it was about how you grow hair all over and your skin gets oily and you smell bad, when you become a grown-up.
I am not making this up. This was spring 1971.

I got a list from my 7th grade Science teacher when I was young, and she told my mom that we'll learn about:
*the reproductive system
*Puberty
*the dynamics of romantic involvement and commitment
*Abstinence and postponing sex
*Sexual harassment, abuse, date, rape, and the law
* Sexually transmitted diseases adn infections
*birth contol methods and their effectiveness
*Pregnancy
*Teen Parenting
*Sexual orientation

At my school we barely talked about the stuff we didn't know.I'm in 9th. and usually its STD's,condoms,etc.
