The deal is that circumcsion is a surgical procedure imposed upon a minority (less than 20%) of the world's males, mostly without informed competent consent. Since it removes about half of the sensual nerve endings, it is rightly characterized as a mutilation. Not only is the most sensitive part of the penile skin system sliced away and discarded or (frequently) sold, but the frenulum - intact mens' favorite part - is haphazardly cut or crushed. Since the procedure is usually done on children, a specific desired result - with respect to the degree of skin removal - could not be achieved even if the perpetrator had one in mind, because the genitals are growing to an unforeseeable adult end state.

The deal with circumcision is that it's HIS body; it should be HIS decision. A huge number of men are deciding to undo some of the effects of their circumcision. You could Google "Tapeless Foreskin Restoration Devices" to see some of the solutions that have arisen to serve this need.

not sure what you mean, but these days there circumcision is a big topic. mostly because circumcision is not a necessary thing and some males get upset, later in life, that they were not given the choice and it's their body.

There are lots of good reasons for it.

Preventing STD's like AIDS, cancer, UTIs, yeast infections....and quite a few more.

Its a good procedure for boys, and I've never heard a circumcised man complain about it.

There is no deal with circumcision, it appears to be a cultural thing, 40-80 years ago it was fashionable to have this done to your child, nowadays it is seen as a cruel practice and hardly necessary.

Male curcumcision is a Jewish custom, which involves cutting away the boy's foreskin in infancy.

It is only generally done to adults if there is a medical reason e.g. a recurring infection, a split foreskin, or if it is too tight.

I went for it due to infection under the foreskin when i was young. The other young guy with me was there because his foreskin was too long. We were bout 10 yrs that time.

if you aren't circumsized as a child, i heard it gets dirty easier. a circumsized penis looks a lot more normal, and it doesnt hurt because you were a baby when you got it done!
