Don't worry you need to take your PSAT and if you have a low score then study more. It's not that bad and you should know most of it. You also get a second take at the test.

Good luck [=

Well first you want to buy a book called "Craking the SAT's" available at Barns&Noble and most Borders book stores.

My next words of advice may sound extreme but bare with me. DO NOT PROCRASTINATE! This terrible habit that most of us high school students suffer from caused me to get a bad score and now i have to pay more money to take them again this year. It might not sound that bad but with all the money you'll be spending on college applications and visiting colleges you'll be hearing from your parent(s) and/or gaurdian(s) "Urg! Another thing I have to pay for!" and maybe "Why do you have to go to college anyway? You can just go work with your uncle as a lanscaper he makes...money." Okay maybe that's just me but do you see what i'm getting at?

In conclusion, purchase a study guide and don't hesitate to study it or else your family will go broke and you'll end up mowing lawns your whole life! Oh and learn how to spell. Elohel.

Hope that helps!

Little late to study but getting 'practice' SAT's to take will give you ideas of where you need to refamiliarize yourself...

Get good nights rest, normal breakfast(I hope), USE bathroom before test and bring some candy(sugar for energy and dry mouth and relaxation).

Bring three sharp #2 pencils.

Read the question, don't panic if you hit stumper and spend twenty minutes on it, skip it and return if time allows BUT don't mismark answers(just like filling out info insure you are in correct row/column/answer(use scrap paper as guide works well) AND if necessary seat next to the smart kid who writes big! Just kidding.

Study, study, study! Take 'em twice and take 'em early! Get good night's sleep the night before and if you can, get a parent to drive you there. Be 100% prepared.
I took the SATs twice... first time I barely studied and got a 940. I also got lost on my way there (driving myself) and spilled orange juice in my lap forcing me to walk in with my leather jacket tied around my waist!
The second time, I studied, studied, studied! (Bought a book that had a CD Rom in it and never picked up he book once, the CD was even kind of fun to use! Though geeky of me to say!) My mom drove me the second time and I had a protein rich, but not heavy breakfast instead of Mc Donald's on the way with topsy-turvy OJ.
I scored 1160 the second time. Yay!
You can get those Kaplan books at most bookstores.

Practice. You can find a study book of practice tests and review material at most bookstores. I strongly recommend it!
Also, check the vocabulary word list that these books will have.

Don't overwhelm yourself by studying to much. Take breaks.
