if you want great audio from your computer than a PCI sound card would be the way to go (answer a) but if you are a basic person that doesn't seek the need for great audio out put, then on-board audio will fork fine.

if you desire great audio, then having mid-high end speakers is a must or you will be contradicting yourself.

I agree with leftfield2263. The only "bad" solution is Answer B: Internal speaker. That will only give you --BEEP-- (very annoying).

So the best and more common solution is Option C because those are cheaper than OptionA and have almost the same performance for a MusicPlayer like Winamp or WMediaPlayer.

If you are looking for a high-end gamer solution (very common) then OptionA is the right solution.
