LOL, okay, here's what's up. I have a friend who I am pretty close w/ and "everyone" in our tiny town thinks we're dating. Probabaly b/c he's always saying he loves me in public and we hang out so much together. Now, i know a couple of my other friends think we're dating and my extended family (who gossips like crazy) think that we are and won't take "no we aren't" as the truth. Should I tell him so that he won't come over on day saying, "You told people we were dating?" when i didn't or should I just let him float around. i mean, also, if people think we're together, what if I meet that great guy out there and we don't even get a chance b/c of this.

I would tell him. If he hears it from someone else he might think you are trying to trap him into dating you.

well if it was me i wouldnt care wat ppl think but since its happenin to u n u seem 2 care just tell him n ya both could find a way to tell ur family n friends....
