If you could have a choice of beening a policeman or firefighter, which one would you choose and why?

Firefighter, i dont think i could handle eating all those donuts....honestly i do fight fire and respect the police. We give it good to them and they come right back with their jokes about us playing checkers. Firefighting is great, you get to do battle with the most amazing force in the world, mother nature. She is fierce and cruel and definately hates and wants to kill you. The ability to slay this mighty dragon is a wonderful feeling.

I was a firefighter/EMT for two years and it was a lot of fun. I will say that with any job in emergency services, it is an absolute MUST that you be passionate about your work. I just didn't have the drive to keep doing it and I chose another line of work.

I would enjoy being (not beening) a firefighter.
It seems like a neat job, pretty intense when you're fighting fires.
I would imagine it deals a little less with the dregs of society that the police have to deal with, criminals, drug dealers / users and such.

The bonus would be captivating gals all around u, like James Bond. of path, a flesh presser like bill Clinton gets this bonus too, yet whilst found out, it is the tip of a occupation. It leads to shame. yet for a secret agent, it relatively is a life sort - an occupational threat, if u like.

I would choose niether cuz they have to wear uniforms and I don't like uniforms I'd rather be a person with Style of my own But I do like watching other Firemen wearing there forms they are so HOT!!!!

Both are noble professions, but personally, I would choose police work. I would like to get into the investigative end of it, possibly forensic psychology.

I'm a Fireman for a small city. I have nothing but respect for my brothers in the P.D. You could say we both love our careers but the one difference?...Everyone loves us and they all disrespect them. You might want to take that into account. Fire Dept. is a little more difficult to get into though. P.S. To all my bros in the LAPD, thanks for getting my back when I did my paramedic internship at LAFD
