My husband works at an Engineering firm doing CAD. His job is the designing of different bridges and road by the measurements that the engieers provide him.
So someone will go out at the site and take measurements. Then they come back and make numbers (engineering thing). Once those number are put together they are given to the Cad worker, who then makes a drawing on the computer/ or by hand.
