her first 10 albums were amazing! she has gone down hill since she joined def jam! who perfers er now or then?

I used to and I still love her old albums.. I agree she doesn't glow like she used to.. Her new albums are really bad.

i have always being a fan of Mariah's from day one. Her pipes are the best in the industry although Xtina's set to steal her shine giving that when it comes to live singing Xtina beats her hands down & nobody can say otherwise.
It's about time she stops ripping her fans off and go back to the Mariah of then that can sing live impecably.
Vocally I would say she messed up in Rainbow (except for Petals) & Emancipation of Mimi (except for Fly like a bird). As a big fan of hers, i think charmbracelet was way better than TEOM, it just surprises me the amount of luck she's had with this album.
Someone mentioned that all she does is whisper, well thats what makes her mariah, nobody can do that **** except her and she definitely keeps it sexy.Actually that's what i like about her vocals. Whispery in a sexy way.
I must agree she does overdo it with the whole skin barring stuff but it's how she prefers to dress so i aint got no bizness hating on that.

I love mariah carey she is my all time fave i think she is very talented all of her music is great she is only moving musically with the times she is just making the transition into a new pop era and shes done it with style

I will give her credit, she is a talented singer with a broad range of vocal chords, regardless of producers. She needs others to manipulate these talents as she often shows her vulnerability. Her work is good but was never amazing.

i like jsut about all of mariah carey's albums, she's very tallented. as a person, she evolves, whether or not we liek or not after all its been like what a bit over ten years since she came out?
i like all her stuff.

i don't perfer any of her music periods. I wish is has an unfortunate accident and never do music again. She is one of the worse thing to ever happen to the music business.

I prefer her then because her songs showed her vocal range better, and the songs had more substance and depth. Now I think she is all about making money.

I like her before. It's not that i hate her now. I still like her. Maybe, there are some new things about her that i don't like that much. I like her in a conservative way... not too much liberated. I like her songs... except for her attitude, the way she flaunt most of her skin and her sluttiness.....
I'm sorry guys... please don't get mad at me. I'm just saying my opinion.
