You don't "Curb" the need to drink beer. You deal with the fact that you like it, and move on to the next step. If you try to deny it, you may get in trouble with what ever you substitute for it. Everything in moderation, just remember that.

You fill your empty beer bottles with urine and chill them in the fridge. Craving reach for a tall glass of your own body fluids. I think you will curb your need real quick

Don't put yourself in social situation where you would normally drink beer. Or, try another drink. Are you trying to quit drinking alcohol or just beer?

Just think about going through liver transplant surgery. Think of the giant upside down Y mark you will have on your torso for the rest of your life. Think of almost dying on the operating table. Think of all the pills you will have to take every day for the rest of your life so that you don't die. Put down the bottle.

I don't know. But if you do drink beer, eat a lot of bread and drink a lot of water. That'll keep the chances of a hangover low.

Many years ago I asked my self who was stronger, me or the bottle of beer. I quit smoking the same way. Quit because you choose to quit. Good luck.

try AA. and if you find another way please let me know. my sons dad is alcoholic. when i drank all it took was for them to tell me that if i take another drink with this disease, neuromuscular disease that it would kill memnad i stopped. i took a drink probably twice in the 14 yrs, of dx but my wil to want to live stopped me and i was a lush. to this day the smell temps mek but i look at my kids and my health and i dont need anymore ailments to have to deal with.but then each of us are diff. alot of people cant just put it down

Eating or drinking something sweet. Keeping a supply of hardcandy in your pocket for when you get the urge.
