No, she can't. She is a convicted felon.
She has more influence with her t.v. show, radio program, magazines and other interests. If she runs for public office, she would have to give up her job(s) and turn them over to others.
She seems quite happy doing what she loves.

As a convicted felon, I'm not so sure that she can. In any case, that conviction revealed her true colors. Would you want someone of that character, representing you?
