If paying for vegetation for my date, lighting fixtures candles and working them a tub, giving them an aromatherapy rubdown, cooking a staggering meal and putting on comfortable temper music and, writing 'you're eye-catching' interior the butter in her refrigerator for her to locate later is romantic then i'm very romantic.

Actually they do. I have talked to guys from the middle east and I must say they some have been very romantic. I do think the respect is there and the one's I knew still talk to you even if they know you are a virgin and are waiting. Cool people.

I don't know why people think that women are not respected in other countries. I am not an arab or anything but I don't know why people think stuff like that only because their culture is different.

Dude, just like totally lay off on the question. If you don't like the answers people give, then don't ask the damn question. It's a waste of your time and everyone elses. No they don't. I dated a Pakistani man very briefly. He told me straight out that all men like him like to date American women because they are "open and friendly" (meaning easy) but when they get married they will marry their own women. That man did not respect me in the slightest and none of the Arab, Indian, Pakistani or otherwise men that have contacted me on yahoo messenger have either. So there.

What a bunch of crap I worked in Saudi Arabia for over 2 years I hear the people talk about their wives they are like a chair, car, other words property to do with as they please. Even the Fathers abuse the daughters hit them for nothing Women are a animal to them, nothing. So don't B.S. the world. You want to go back to the stone age. And in certain Arab cultures, a woman has 'half value'. By that, I mean that a woman's testimony has only half the weight of a male's. Also, in inheritances, a woman is only entitled to half of what a son would get.
The whole concept of "half value" is pretty darn demeaning, and could hardly be called respectful.
