Sasuke dies in Episode 110. Well he died for a while but was brought back to life by the help of orochimaru's men. The reason why he wanted to die beacause sasuke wanted to reach level two on his power that orochimaru marked him with.

Sasuke will not die (though he has said he would gladly die, if it means defeating Itachi). When the time comes, Naruto will save him from Orochimaru. (This is why the Kyubi begged Sasuke not to kill Naruto).

Nope...Sasuke never died the traitor as the person before said left with Orochimaru to seek power to kill his brother Itachi !
