I'm sorry to say but AVG has gaps and doesn't always work correcty
I had a Gateway from 2000 and I used AVG and it let so many viruses on my computer.Mcaffe Roots Into ur system and will never uninstall so it's bad too. Norton is great It has protected my new HP from over almost 9,000 Viruses In 2 months it works great sometimes there are little problems but free antivirus programs are pure cyber trash. But hey w/e suites you but I recomend Norton

I use AVG. I tried it after I decided to stop paying Norton every year for an upgrade. AVG has free automatic updates and it works just fine!!

I agree with you. I have AVG and I've heard bad things about Norton. As long as you keep it up to date, don't fret.
As the comparisons admit, none gives you 100% protection.

I've used AVG (Free edition) since it came out.. NEVER had a problem. Norton used to slow my machine down.
Stick with AVG, you're in good hands, and you can't beat the price.

AVG is good for a free service but it only covers the bare minimums of computer protection. You should invest on a more powerful program like Norton or McAfee that offers more and protects better. I use McAfee myself and really like it.

Norton is a big bulky piece of crap- which you have to pay for.
Keep your AVG.

I have AVG too- I've had no problems with it; as long as that stays the case, I'll be sticking with it.
