My daughter ha sexperienced that problem after getitng a degree in medical tech. The teacher s were full of praise for the so called profession which turned out to be nothing short of a legal state sponsered scam. Students wer eout lied to about how easy it was to get a job as amedical tech, and how much money they would make. She was advised ot go for nursing or another field exray tech but chose not and has wasted her 3 years in college as she cannot get anyone to give her a start ofr experience without working for year s for next to nothing,. The hospitals and doctors have the filed sewed up and control labour in it here. Another field which many students get hurt in is medical clerical work at home. Very few people make a living in that unless they have enough money to get started big and hire other cheap help,
My daughters frioend got tow jobs after graduating in medical tech college . one in the blood doantion business for 8 bucks an hour which qualified her to get a second job with a doctor's office for 9 dollars an hour (but closer to home) that's how they do it. you work for nothing to accumalate experience and than they hire another newbie for nothing. With experioence you usually have to move to find large companies. You might consider suing your core classes you already have to get a degree in something with a bigger salary and better chance of employment. That is the decision my daugher has arrived at and now it's another 1 1/2 years back in school for her. Research which jobs you are interested in, which jobs are in your area or where you would like to work, the salary and how secure that employment is.
For example in the medica; field exray techs and registered nurses are able to find employment anywhere in the country at usually good pay, and are least likely tpo be laid off. Medical clerks, and medical transcript, medical techs are hard put to find jobs at all for any salary.
Secretareis are now the new compute rbreed who go to school two years and fill the vacanies so fast there are few decent jobs in that area.

Hey,
Always start your job with small concerns, because job opportunity in small concern's were more, only thing is they pay less. But allways do job that is similar you have targeted.

Allways dont aim for a job with more pay even if you are more qualified. The pay can't even meet your requirement. But it will sure give you experience.

Then one by one discontinue by six months aor one year. and go to slightly bigger concerns.

Beleive or not i did the same. Now i am in working in bigger concern.

Now i have some 3 years experience with all big concerns and only my biginning company is a small one.

But if you are less qualified while working partly add up some educational qualification to your side.

some employers actually like employees with no experience, bc then they can train them however they want, as the employee has no habits from other jobs. the best thing is to start young so they can train you from the beginning, and then as you get older, and work experience becomes important, you will have a solid background!

Monster , Yahoo Hotjobs, Careerbuilder are some of the largest job boards, where you can apply for jobs and upload your resume. Since Craigslist, allows free job postings, many smaller companies post their vacancies on this online classifieds website. You can also search for jobs from multiple websites using aggregators like SimplyHired and Indeed. Referrals are also becoming a increasingly popular way to get hired.

I knew a guy who wanted to do jewelry repair. He went to a repair job shopper and volunteered to work 20 hours a week FOR NOTHING. He worked about a year for the guy, and is now pulling in well into 6 figures a year, and averaging about 30 hours a week.

Jewelry repair is involved. The occupation you want to pursue will probably take a lot less than a year.

To gain experience consider performing some volunteer work in a similar field. Just because your working for free doesn't mean you can't put it on your resume. Also consider performing work similar to what you seek as a small business of your own. You can do both suggestions in small or large amounts and still gain experience to put on your resume.

The number 1 way is to intern at a company to gain practical experiece. In a lot of cases you will be paid and in some cases you will not be paid but will be able to use that company as a refference on your resume which is worth its price in gold

Depends on what vocation you are attempting to get into. some places will let you be an apprentice first, some will let you be an intern first, etc. etc.

Best bet might be to attend a local college first? Or, depending on which company you REALLY want, work for a lesser know company first to gain experience.
