How do I stop windows from auto logging me out?

My lap top "logs out" of windows when my computer is inactive for a while.

How do I set it so that I only have to enter a password when booting up the computer?

Control Panel
Power Options icon
In there you can determine what Windows does or doesn't shut down, and how soon. Can be different for on battery rather than on plug.

In the Advanced section you can determine whether or not it ask for a password when it "wakes up".
