No matter that you have exceptionally low miles, and have put more money into it than you will ever get back,,, why the NEED to update???

It's just a CAR!!!!, and maybe status in NEW is important to you? No offense, but gads, if it were mine, and I had that investement in it, I'd drive it for another 13 years.

At the very least, get a small version of something economical, and use the 93 for major stuff.

How much would you expect to get back anyway? Have you checked Edmunds, or similar sites?

The Kelly Blue Book price for a 1993 BMW 325 sedan or coupe is ranges $4,800-$6,000. If you trade it in you'll probably get 40%-50% less.

The $4,000 you invested in you car is very important if they are modifications not repairs,if any. Mods usually increase the car's value by 20%-30% more.

Check out a 1999 BMW 323i, great value and it has the E46 body style. Great car for a great price.

If you choose to sell your car and get a newer one please look into getting a Carfax and doing your research before closing a deal.

Good Luck. Hope this helps.

if your lookin to save gas, keep it. but if you wanna get something new, id sell it for at least 9 to 10,000. especially with the condition and the milage.
