I will be visiting the zoo this weekend. I have searched yahoo Q & A for information. I am sort of confused. I would like detailed info on the tram and the bus and the differences as well as prices. Also, i read a comment stating that perhaps walking is best does anyone else support that? where do i purchase the tickets for the tram/bus? If i do decide to walk (without great detail just a few minute stops) how long will it take to tour the entire zoo. Or if i take the tram, how long is the ride? is it basically just to show you around and then one walks to wherever they'd like? please explain, never been there. Thanks a million.

The bus is the fastest way to see the zoo, the tickets are about $12 and when you enter the zoo go right and it the ticket counter will be on your left. They sell both tram & bus tickets there. When you do go on the bus go on the top level, you can see the animals alot better. They don't let you out but once you get the ticket you can jump on the shuttle busses that will take you from one part of the zoo to another. Walking just takes WAY TOO LONG. Expecially if you have kids, it's up & down hills and this weekend it's not supposed to be too hot but the sun can get brutal. Another benefit to the bus is that you can see the animals better there are some that are hidden by bushes ect. and they have a tour guide. I have never been on the tram it's usally closed when I go. After you get off the buss you have a better idea of where things are and if you want to see something you can go back & see it.
