That sounds like an early term miscarriage. It happens a lot more than you think. From what I know (from by bf's mother a biologist) this happens a ton when a women is stressed or the egg and sperm aren't a good match. From an evolutionary standpoint (or if you prefer: how God wants it) it is best to have perfect children. If the DNA or your womb isn't in tip-top shape the body is going to abort it. Why bear a child that wouldn't live to reproduce and carry on the species (or God's message).
You'll be fine to conceive next month.
Good Luck!

Miscarriage as we all know is quite common, and suppossedly a woman has miscarriages without even knowing and we just consider it a heavy period, so it might be, but I definatly wouldn't let that discourage you. You are on your period now so just know that once it stops to jump back on the baby making wagon because ovulation can occur anytime after your period, look at your mucus though ( I know that sounds gross ) but usually around the time you are ovulating it increases to help carry the sperm to your egg. Good luck and dont even worry, oh and since your cycles are so normal 28-29 days your probably do ovulate around the 14th day of your cycle meaning from day 1 of your period, so period days count also. Good luck and I hope you guys succeed!!!

When your hormones are not right you can experience clotting and irregular periods. Don't get all carried away with the miscarriage idea. If you lost one, most likely it was imperfect and this is nature's way of taking care of things. Are you seeing a doctor regularly? Get your life in order and the rest will come with time. Babies need parents that are stable and secure. Good luck!

Its hard to say especially since the tests came back negative. Why don't you schedule an appt with your OB/GYN so you can ask. Let your doctor know that you are trying to conceive and find out if it was an early miscarriage and find out what you can do to up your chances of getting pregnant/carrying to term.

It would be better to check with a doctor that can examine you and maybe take a blood sample, the clotting could depend on some type of medication you've just started taking it could depend on many factors. What is abnormal for you might be normal for the next. I would seriously consider checking with the family doctor. good luck

I watched Dr. Drew the other night. They had a fertility specialist on there. He said you should have sex every other day. Also a guy has a "batch of sperm". If it is a bad batch, every 90 days it regenerates. He also said that there is pretty much an 18hour window where a girl can get pregnant. I don't know if any of that helped....good luck!

Hrmm was it a more than average pain for a period? If you are that regular I would think it could POSSIBLY be a miscarriage.
I sure hope you guys are ready for a baby. I had my first at 21 and boy I wish I waited. :)
Either way, God Bless and best o luck! :)

As women age, our periods can change also.
You had a late period. You're not pregnant.
