I dont think its the Gnomes that are creepy.
The creepy part is that there are people that think that it is not only acceptable, but fun, cool and decorative to put them in their gardens!

I actually don't find them creepy. But people have different fears of different things. There is a website where they show the killing of the lawn gnomes. Perhaps that would make you feel a bit more secure? You can probably find it by using google search. Good luck with finding them not so creepy.

Gnomes in general are very creepy. I think it has something to do with their close resemblance to trolls and the pointy hats.
