We all change and some not for the better. Its how we deal with these changes that is the key. We can be open minded or hard headed, like my husband. If you don't learn to compromise you will always have hurdles in the relationship.
I have lived with my husband for 10 years have two teen boys, and married for 12. So I have had a relationship of 22 years total with verbal, mental and emotional abuse. Now he writes his crap down on paper which I discovered and I left with the boys. So change always happens, but its good to stop and read the signs along the way and not ignore them as I did. If I did this I would be married to my "soul mate" right now and having his baby, instead of his wife.

We all change, my dear, over the years. Maybe you don't see it in yourself, but I bet your family & friends do! If we are VERY lucky, we and our partners grow along the same road, but all too often people grow apart. We develop different likes & dislikes, different opinions & attitudes, and they're not always compatible, I'm sorry to say. A lot of relationships fail because we can't live with these differences. It isn't anyone's fault as such, just the natural development of human beings.
