I know round ligament pain is common but I thought that was only in the stomach/groin area. I have not had any kind of spotting or blood.

If you haven't had any spotting or bleeding I would just lay back and take it easy and see if they go away. Make sure you are also drinking plenty of water also because dehydration is not a good thing while pregnant. I know this sounds crazy but the yellower your pee is thats how dehydrated you are, so if your pee is pale yellow or clear you know you are getting plenty of fluids. If the pain doesn't go away though say within a day call your doctors office and let them know how your feeling. You are in your 2nd trimester now so your chance of miscarriage is pretty low, but take it easy and stay off your feet for a little while. Every womans pregnancy is different but keep in mind that those ligaments that are holding your uterus are attached to your lower spine and that could be what you are feeling, they are stretching and pulling making room for that baby!! If your freaked out though call you doc.

I don't remember having any cramps in my back...with either of my pregnancies...I would suggest, call your doctor or talk to his nurse and see if it is normal...they will probably tell you all is fine, but they are the ones you need to ask. Good luck

I had back cramps with my daughter last year. My Dr. told me to drink more fluids and to walk. Walking helped. Good luck

everybody is different so don't play around with it. Let a Doc. put your mind at ease.
