A high score would give you a better chance, but I am sure they take students with lower scores as well, as long as they offer something special (a particular demographic, a particular talent, the person's parents and grandparents went to the school, etc.)
I recommend this week's Time magazine cover story and related writings if this is a topic of interest to you:

Pretty much perfect.
"Harvard does not have clearly defined, required minimum scores; however, the majority of students admitted to the College represent a range of scores from roughly 600 to 800 on each section of the SAT I as well as on the SAT II Subject Tests."

My brothers going there this year. He got a really high score like a 700-800 on the parts of the SAT's or something like that. You have to be really involved in activities and you must be a very good essay writer!!!

nearly perfect, no pressure though. haha I feel the same kind of pressure too. I am taking mine in a couple years and I'm already freaking out. The college I want to go to has a very high SAT score requirement as well.
(by the way i love your screen name)
