I'd think I look like crap, but people say I look cute. I'd feel like I look good, but it seems like I don't. Is what I see what everyone else sees?

I think I look OK, but I look different in photos, and sometimes ok. But I can't explain why I don't have a double chin in the mirror but almost always do in photos? And if I look OK, then why don't people on the street smile at me and say hi more often? I feel like a freak. Sometimes I think I'm scary looking, and the other half of the time I feel like I'm gay looking. Or possibly I'm so incredibly handsome they don't know how to approach such a godlike figure. Yes people have told me I'm handsome before. Alternatively I'm completely average so no one notices me. What a world!?

People see us as a whole, not as details. It's almost impossible to get the same effect by looking into a mirror, because you keep your face still (unnatural) and don't interact with anyone. It's true that your face in the mirror is left-right backwards from the real face, but that's not the whole reason you don't see what others see. They think you're cute because of the smile in your eyes when you see them, the way you flip your pony tail or your shirt tail, etc etc, not just the picture. Think about a zombie with exactly the same features you have; you'd be quite different with the same mirror image.

No, all of us sees the opposite of what you notice in a reflect. you may get a extra advantageous concept of ways you seem with the aid of seeing your face in a webcam photograph, yet the place the image is desperate to bypass opposite your strikes.

You know what everyone else sees is different too. Due to your experiences and changing views of yourself you look different. Due to your relationships with friends and family you probably look different to each person.

when we look in the mirror we magnify our faces and pick out any irregularities and blemishes, people don't see us that way, so if people tell you, you are cute you must be
