What are my odds that I will have twins since both my older and younger sister have twins? Twins run on both sides of the family and also on my significant others side.

I would say your odds are pretty high usually twins happen because your body releases 2 eggs at the same time and they both get fertalized and then you would get fraternal twins, but if your body releases just one egg and it splits in half you will have identical twins. I think it really has more to do w/ the mothers genes then it does with the fathers genes. If this pregnancy isn't twins the older you get the more you up your odds, but being as your younger and older sister have twins like I said your chances are pretty high!! Good luck

It's a very good chance you will have fraternal twins because you are probably a carrier of the gene. However, your significant other's genes have nothing to do with it. It is the females genetics that determine whether or not she will have fraternal twins. Identical twins, however, are a freak occurance, meaning they happen at the same rate all over the world and have nothing to do with genetics.

its 50/50 that u could be...my significant other has twin sisters...i am a twin my self and twins run on my sides of the family...i think i am only havin one tho but i will be sure 2 let u know what they tell me when i go to the doctor

UMM I WOULD SAY YOU HAVE A 50/50 CHANCE OF EITHER YOU NEVER WILL NO FOR SURE I MIGHT HAPPEN BUT ALSO MIGHT NOT
