Peterson is currently housed on San Quentin's death row.
The murder was not committed at the prison.
If you are asking because you want to write to him, be advised that his attorney has instructed him not to reply to mail from anyone outside his existing circle of family and friends because several of his letters were auctioned on E-bay and there is some concern about his appellate case being compromised.
