any suggestions .. how do u get popular.. or for people to liek u ?? and just curious.. how do u kno if a guy really likes u??

If you want people to like you, start with a smile. Never talk badly about other people. Be a good listener as well as a talker. If you make a promise keep it. Don't take life too seriously and don't be over sensitive. Learn to be able to take a joke, not just make a joke. Be honest and give other people the respect that you desire. Treat everyone the way you want to be treated, and most important for other people to like you, you have to like yourself and have good self esteem. Don't put yourself down, even if you are unsure of yourself, don't let them see you sweat.

PS. Someone answered, "you get popular when you wear expensive clothes and do your hair nice". No No No! That is a very shallow person answering like that. Yes you need to be clean and try to always look your best but it doesn't matter how much your clothes cost, only snobs will judge you by the price of your clothes. Be nice to those people too but don't get sucked in to believing that they are popular, no one really likes or respects a snob.

If a guy really likes you, he will let you know. Watch how he treats others and see if he treats you better.

All my life I felt like a nerd. I wasn't popular at all and only had a few close friends - who also weren't popular. I struggled with this all my school days, plus I was painfully shy. When I went away to college I decided that I was going to become a different person. I wanted to make new friends and be popular. So I asked myself, "What does a popular person do?" The answer was - they exume confidence. They talk to people, start conversations, ask questions, get involved, volunteer, help others, say hi to everyone, remember their name and use it when you greet them. So I decided to try these things starting the first day I moved into the dorm. I walked in confidently, introduced myself, and began "acting" like I was popular. At first I felt so strange. But by the next day it got easier, and as time went by I became a very popular person. I had tons of friends, everyone knew me, and I was happy. What had changed? I was really the same person, but I just made others see me differently. As for knowing if a guy really likes you - if he seeks you out, if he talks to you, if he listens when you talk, then I would say he really likes you.

Well, you know when a guy likes you when you catch him looking at you or if he's playing hard-to-get, well that's when he teases you. You get popular if you were expensive clothes and always do your hair perfect and hang out with some popular kids. It's not just for people liking you.
