it depend if the intention of the lie is to expose a greater truth or to challenge a greater liar. people lie everyday and the only person to trust is yourself as people only lie to benefit themselves so if you were to tell a lie then you must always keep the truth on hand.
often a deception can be found within a truth depending on personal perception, how do you perceive a truth, is it to deceive a liar?

Slightly confusing...

why would lies be better than the truth even if it makes you feel "so good"?

there are times when you have to lie....
telling your 6 year old that her puppy went to "live on a farm" or like when you were smoking outside and not just talking to the neighbour about trimming the hedge.

but

when it comes to relationship changing lies i.e...
having feelings for someeone else and wanting to act on them then i think you have a problem there.


Your question seems to lack meaning and direction, therefore i cant really express my true thoughts on this subject.

I do hope that you seek couselling if you feel that lying is better than the truth as this will get you NOWHERE in your life, your employers will not promote you, your fiance's will leave you and you will end up lonely and cold and wondering how you ended up like one of the guys from "chewing-the-fat".

The bad thing about lies is that you have to remember what you say and who did you say it to. Plus there is no end to it because you have to keep doing it to cover up the other lies that you told. But with the truth there is nothing that you need to remember and once said that is the end of it.

would you rather live in lies? even though lies can make u or someone else feel good it hurts more when the truth comes out, if you really cared enough about a person to lie to them you care enough about them to tell them the truth

I would prefer the truth in my face no matter how ugly or harsh it may be. But after 6 years of marriage, sometimes... lying is mandatory to maintain the sanctity of marriage. I do not lie to make myself feel good as I prefer to tell the truth. Lying do not make me feel good. I get the outcome I want but it's not good.

Lies are never better than truth.The truth always comes out and then everyone knows you lied and lying ain't good no matter what your intentions were. Though it is human nature to lie.

No....lies ruin you once you're found out.
It takes quite a while to build a good reputation and less than a minute to destroy it.
You'll feel good until you're found out and once you're caught in a lie.......you'll find it almost IMPOSSIBLE to get anyone to trust you again.
I don't think it's worth it.When I say something is true or false -- I don't need doubt hindering others from believing me.
I mean what I say....and if you don't believe me.....you just don't know me.

when you tell one lie you end up telling another to back it up until you have a huge web of lies!!!! the truth may hurt someone but they will get over it, tell one lie and it will haunt u 4 the rest of ur life!!

I would prefer the truth, you never know where you are with people when they always lie and i hate it when people just talk s**t to someone and then tell you the story but with added bits on that is just unbelievably false!!!!

People say lies get you noware....but lies have got me out of alot of spankings!....and out of alot of trouble at school so yeah, I think lies are better just so long as u don't use them often!....but it is true that the truth will set you free!
