Worse or at the very least just as bad. It is now more important than ever in our history that we have viable 3rd and fourth parties at least in the senate and the house. At least if a vote is within earshot of a tie the voice of centrist may be persuasive in important decisions. Some 75% of the U.S. population lay near the center whether it be more to the right or left. The extremism that has divided our nation to such a devastating degree actually has no merit. We The People need to be heard rather than manipulated by extremists from both sides of the fence. I'm sick of it.

Better in my opinion. Now I'm not saying democrats should rule all, but without checks and balances there is only chaos. The Republician party rules currently and eventually people will get tired of their ways and vote democratic.

I'm a moderate liberal my friends say. I perfer centrist.

Hey loser.....

Vote. That's how it works. You can't just put someone in charge of part of congress because you want checks and balances..

The term doesn't even apply to Republicans and Democrats. It is the balance of power between the three branches of the federal government. Regardless of party affiliation.

This is simply another question that proves the dumbing down of society by the liberal public school system. Learn how government works before you ask another idiotic question.

You hit the nail on the head my friend.
Democrats in charge of the congress would give us gridlock. Gridlock is good, for America. Remember when Clinton was president and the republicans were in charge of congress. The republicans, especially Nude Gingrinch, were always complaining about gridlock. Well with that gridlock we got three or four years of budget surpluses, a great economy, a stable dollar, no wars and domestic tranquility. GRIDLOCK IS GOOD

Republicans in congress need to do their jobs instead of blindly following the pres.

That said, we're due for a change....Dems may not be much better tho. In fact, maybe worse as we may end up with gridlock

They ARE continuing on .The democrats just can't seem to win elections any more since their treasonous displays have gone public .The democrat party has been in ruins since they became left-wing radicals way before they were under the guru Michael Moore .

I think we need a change in Washington and it has nothing to do with party. Vote out all incumbents and put people in their that may some day represent the PEOPLE once again.

Best is a President of one party and Congress of the other. That requires compromise.

Democrats should definitely control a part of congress or at least work together with democrats to accomplish certain goals.. I wouldn't say it would be worse.

It won't be decided on this forum.

Try checking in at the Tomb and ask the Skull&Bones what they have planed.
