I used to watch it, but it soon got boring since the spawn of So You Think You Can Dance. There's not as much variety in American Idol.

I think all the Idol shows are *ucking stupid. They take opportunities away from the real musicians who have been struggleing all their career to some dip$hit who walks in off the street and starts singing like a total fag aka Guy Sebastian.

I like watching the first couple shows where the people are auditioning. There are some that are so horrible it's hysterical. I laugh so hard sometimes. But I wonder what the heck some of them are thinking and why they bother to waste the day waiting for their turn. Beyond that, I haven't watched. I think I have watched the first two days of each "season".

I must admit that i caught the bug last season. fell in LOVE with Elliott. i can't believe how much i downloaded his songs, and voted for him 100 times, and cried when he was voted off. and i am a 30 year old woman! i doubt i'll ever have another connection with any other contestant, though. i am sure i will continue to watch...but i am totally disgusted on how the producers slighted Elliott last season. he was not given NEARLY the same "star" treatment as Chris, Catherine and Taylor. and it turned me off.
but shhhhh. don't tell anybody how lame i am :)

I do too. I look forward to this show every year. The first year I watch this show I had no interest on it cause they had horrible singer's on it. Now they are having more and more talented singer's on the show! I love this show!

yeah i like it, but there r rumors that simon doesnt want 2 be a judge anymore, and that was the reason i watched it, i liked him 2 make fun of all the people, it was fun,
