You'll find your answer just trying on dresses. You can still look sexy in a long dress, but it has to be the right dress. If you go in only looking for short, you'll be short changing yourself. Or embarrassing your man instead of making him think you're sexy.

yes but you should also consider the others in attendance and a wedding is usually a place to look pretty and classy not cheap and trashy..keep that in mind, u have the whole night of the wedding to be sexy for ur man, wear something sexy underneath and tell him about it so the whole time at the wedding and party he'll be going nuts thinking of it.

Or maybe this... the top portion is really sexy, don't know about the bottom, but maybe you can change that to suit your taste...

Short & sexy is a great idea & can be appropriate for outdoor wedding, but I think you should be careful not to be too short because you can end up looking skanky instead of sexy. You can look very revealing on the top (by wearing a tube top for instance) & can still look sexy & sophisticated if the length of your skirt goes just below your knees... that's just my opinion. But congrats on getting married- your guy is sure lucky!

2 dresses are better. Get one longer one for the wedding and then change into a white or cream colored reception dress. Most upper class brides do that. Just shop around online and you can find cheaper dresses if you dont have much money.

I'm having a long gown for the ceremony and sort of a sun dress for the reception. You don't want to wear a long dress at the party, it will just be in your way.

They do make dresses that have a removable train....make sure that the ceremony dress is appropriate--you may want to be "sexy for your man" but the guests don't need to see it!
and actually the "sexy" part should be reserved for the marriage bed!!!

its your day wear whatever you like but i wouldnt go too sexy you dont want your husbands parents and grandparents seeing your goodies do you,? i would go with something comfy but sexy if its outdoors it might get really hot out and then for the party wear whatever you like something short and sexy in an ivory color that you can dance in.

I like your idea of two different dresses. One a little more subdues for the wedding, and one more "flirty" for the reception. You will be more comfortable and have more fun. Go for it! Congratulations and wishes for a long, happy life together.
